Junior Powell
Director and Screenwriter
Junior Powell is a trained teacher and holds a Bachelors degree in Language Arts from Bethlehem Teachers College, Jamaica.
He served as a former News Editor for The Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation and Radio Jamaica.
He has designed and created Instructional videos for Web.com with Sales and Technical support departments in the United States and offshore sites in Colombia and the Philippines.
Powell’s love for literature and the art of story telling began at an early age. He is inspired by the well-known ‘Father of African Films’: Senegalese, film director/writer, and producer Ousmane Sembene. Powell’s scripts are influenced by his passion for transforming social issues through his literary work.
He has authored several screen plays, including, Dangers of Life which was a finalist in the prestigious Scriptapalooza screen writing competition in 2004.
He recently founded the Lakeside at Waters Edge, neighborhood Screenwriters Club- designed to provide constructive critiquing for writers. Powell’s warm and easygoing personality makes him easy to work with and his personal stance for excellence is replicated in his work. He makes his feature film directing debut with "A Dance For Grace".

Orville Matherson
Producer/Director
Actor and Producer, Orville Matherson is a graduate of DeVry University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance. After working in the financial sector in Chicago and New York City for many years, he decided to return to his first love, acting.
Matherson obtained formal training from American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), Stella Adler Conservatory and Michael Howard Conservatory to further develop his acting career. Since then he has performed in a wide range of roles on stage and screen.
Onstage, he has appeared in Love’s Labor’s Lost, Machinal directed by Jesse Berger, Blue Orange, directed by Larry Singer, Edward the Second at The American Theater of Actors and Hamlet with The Hudson Shakespeare Company. Screen credits include Law and Order SVU and Ed.
Matherson's acting experience and business acumen makes him uniquely qualified to assume the triple roles of leading man, Executive Producer and Director for A Dance For Grace.

Dale Foti
Associate Producer/Production Manager, USA
(Also Actor as “Hospital Financial Counselor”/Cast)
Born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Dale attended Milford’s prestigious Lauralton Hall Catholic High School for Girls and brings to her role as Production Manager, USA and Associate Producer of A Dance For Grace, extensive experience in both the business and entertainment fields.
Her Executive position, with one of the largest major corporations in the world, has equipped her with the skills required to manage the budget, the actors, hiring, overall scheduling, networking and location scouting for A Dance For Grace.
Prior to college, Dale also spent several years as a cheerleader and with a love for English Grammar and writing, won first place in a Creative Writing Contest. Trained at the Broadway Dance Center, Jazz It Up Studio of Dance, Miss Liz School of Dance and at Soap Set Studios Acting School, Dale is also an accomplished dancer, actress and model who graduated from the world famous John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center.
She has appeared on the TV show Nightcap with Robin Leach and Rae Dawn Chong and can be seen in the role of the hospital’s Financial Counselor in A Dance For Grace. With over 30 years dance experience across several genres, her invaluable insight into the creative and production aspects of dance, film and television has stood her in good stead to provide support to the many artists working on both sides of the camera in A Dance For Grace.
Dale is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective order of Elks of the USA and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the USA, as well as a dedicated volunteer. She recently won the spot of third place in a nationwide internet voting contest for a model-based reality television show.

Joan Edwards
Production Manager, Jamaica
Jamaican born Joan Edwards possesses a wealth of experience in Project Management, Financial Planning and Customer Service which she has brought to bear in her role as Production Manager, Jamaica.
As Manager of The Personal Portfolio Management Center at Jamaica Money Market Brokers- one of Jamaica's most profitable financial service entities - Joan has seamlessly merged her business acumen with her passion for the entertainment business, to oversee production of the challenging Jamaican sequences for A Dance For Grace.
A graduate of the renowned Holy Childhood High School for Girls, Joan is also the holder of a BSc. Honors Degree from the University of The West Indies, Jamaica and an MBA from the University of New Orleans.
She has been associated with the arts in general and theatre in particular through her many performances in dramatic productions in school and her church over the years. She is also a passionate advocate for the further development of Jamaica’s Film Industry through projects like A Dance for Grace.
